1. Introduction
SimilarIQ is a product of Seamless Contacts Inc. d/b/a SimilarIQ ("SimilarIQ," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices for information collected through the SimilarIQ websites, applications, and services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, contact us using the information in the "Contact Us" section at the end of this policy.
2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data when you create an account, use the Services, make purchases, or communicate with us, and from our service providers. Depending on your interactions with us, this may include:

You may choose not to provide personal data, but some features of the Services may then be unavailable.
3. How We Use Personal Data
We use personal data for our legitimate business interests, to perform our contract with you, and with your consent where required, including to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
- Process payments, credits, subscriptions, and auto-refill charges, and send receipts;
- Send transactional communications (verification links, sign-in links, password resets, billing notices) and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of;
- Monitor for fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the Services and our users;
- Produce aggregate or statistical data about usage of the Services; and
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. How We Share Personal Data
We share personal data with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the Services, including:
- Payment processing — payments are processed by Stripe, governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy;
- Authentication — sign-in is provided by our authentication provider (including Google and Microsoft single sign-on, if you choose them);
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure — our infrastructure providers host the Services and store data on our behalf;
- Third-party AI infrastructure and licensed data providers — domains you search are processed by our AI infrastructure partners and licensed data sources to generate results. We do not send them your name, email, or account details alongside your queries;
- Email delivery — transactional email providers deliver messages we send you.
We may also disclose personal data: to comply with law or legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of SimilarIQ, our users, or others; in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data); and with your consent or at your direction.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may export your data or delete your account at any time from Account Settings; deletion removes your personal account data except records we are required to retain (for example, billing records).
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (including the GDPR for EU/UK residents and state consumer privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA for California residents), including:
- Access / Know — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Account Settings → Export Data);
- Correction — update inaccurate information (Account Settings → Profile);
- Deletion — delete your account and associated data (Account Settings → Delete Account);
- Portability — export your data in a machine-readable format;
- Opt out — of non-essential communications, and of "sale" or "sharing" of personal data as those terms are defined by applicable law (we do not sell personal data);
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any right, use the self-service tools in Account Settings or email privacy@seamlessleads.com or support@similariq.ai. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies and browser storage for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because we do not track you across third-party websites, we do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, though we honor applicable opt-out preference signals where required by law.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and access controls. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor and never stored on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Services at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
9. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
10. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above, and we will notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance.
